New Patients at Cannon Chiropractic, PLLC
We make it simple to get started with care at Cannon Chiropractic, PLLC—all you have to do is show up! Bring your photo ID, and if you’re using Medicare, bring your insurance card.
When you enter our soothing practice, our friendly front desk staff will greet you by name. They’ll answer any of your questions and help you with your new patient paperwork. Then you’ll go back to meet with your chiropractor.During this initial consultation, your doctor will listen as you describe what’s been going on with your health. If your situation is something we believe we can help with, we’ll let you know. If it’s not, we’ll tell you that as well—and we’ll help you get to the right type of provider for you.
If we can help you, we’ll continue on with a thorough examination that will include orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic assessments. We have certified X-ray technicians on-site to take any necessary X-rays. Then, you’ll receive some healing therapy, such as interferential current (muscle stimulation) or intersegmental traction.
Most patients are adjusted at this visit as well, unless something in the X-rays suggests we should wait.
At your next appointment, we’ll go over your X-rays and all of your results with you so you can understand what’s causing you to feel the way you do. We’ll recommend our plan of care and explain how often we’ll need to see you. Then, if you’re ready to begin, you’ll receive therapy and your chiropractic adjustment.
